I’m Swetambra, the founder of Sonnet Consulting, which I led from May 2010 to April 2026. I am currently working as a freelance animator, a new journey I embarked on in May 2022, and I am based in India.
My journey began after completing my MBA in Human Resources and working for a few years in a conventional corporate environment. Over time, I realized that sometimes a hobby can find its way into a career, and a simple spark of passion can become the beginning of something much bigger.
My love for painting, sketching, and design on paper eventually found its entrepreneurial destination in animation, web design, and web applications. What began as a hobby gradually transformed into a professional journey, taking my creativity from paper to the digital world.
My journey has taken me through different phases—from being a professional to becoming an entrepreneur, taking a break during motherhood, and eventually returning to work and taking charge of my professional path once again.
It was not always easy, but it was possible.
During my entrepreneurial journey, we worked through crowdsourcing and built a network of experienced consultants and developers across different locations. Over the years, Sonnet Consulting catered to portals and applications for both government and private-sector clients in India, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Today, this blog is a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, professional insights, and personal learnings gathered over the years through both formal and informal experiences.

I have always looked at life from a different perspective and believe in living it with energy, optimism, and purpose. I enjoy talking to people, exchanging ideas, and exploring different perspectives on everyday life.
Through this blog, I would like to share my thoughts on life, personal growth, motivation, everyday challenges, relationships, experiences, and the ups and downs that shape us. I hope these reflections will encourage us to face challenges with courage while staying true to ourselves.
I intend this blog to be a repository of my experiences, life lessons, and professional learnings, particularly from my journey as a woman, professional, entrepreneur, mother, and now a creative professional.
I am an optimistic person and a firm believer in the saying, “Every cloud has a silver lining.” I also strongly believe that we have the power to shape our own destiny through our choices, efforts, and perseverance.
My hobbies include reading, writing, sketching, painting, and animation.
